In contrast to the historical accuracy of Red Dead Redemption, anything and everything is possible in the world of Grand Theft Auto Online. Every update to GTA Online would introduce new characters, clothing, weapons, vehicles, missions and so much more.

Every update was an exercise in storytelling, showcasing upcoming new content in our key art, while also staying true to the identity of Grand Theft Auto that has been evolving for over 20 years.

Along with developing key art, this was also an exercise in logo design, every update needing its own identity that again would hint to the players whats to come in the new updates.

Grand Theft Auto Online’s visual identity has constantly evolved over an unbelievable 10+ years and continues to change to this day while still remaining true to the original games.
