Moss: The Forgotten Relic is an emotional and atmospheric adventure set in the pages of a living storybook, brimming with myth and ancient magic. Guide a tiny but determined hero on a heartfelt journey of challenge, courage, and connection.
The central challenge of this project was clearly communicating what Moss: The Forgotten Relic actually was. Rather than a new installment, it combined Moss and Moss: Book II into a single collection, bringing the complete experience to consoles and PC for the first time outside of VR. The creative needed to set the right expectations for existing fans while generating excitement around the opportunity to revisit Quill's journey on an entirely new platform, without positioning it as brand-new content.

Alongside the collection branding, I redesigned the original Moss and Moss: Book II key art to create a more cohesive visual system across the franchise. The updated artwork unified the series while clearly identifying the original releases as the VR versions, helping distinguish them from Moss: The Forgotten Relic and reducing confusion across storefronts and marketing materials.
The website redesign marked a strategic shift in how the Moss franchise was presented, evolving it from a VR-focused title into a premium console and PC adventure. The goal was to create a more cinematic, story-driven experience that better reflected the heart of the franchise, while simplifying the path to discovery, purchasing, and franchise exploration. By treating the site as both a marketing destination and long-term franchise hub, the redesign helped establish a stronger foundation for Moss beyond VR.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic was a full franchise reintroduction that brought the award-winning Moss series to consoles and PC for the first time outside of VR. Spanning brand strategy, visual identity, key art, marketing, and digital experience, the project established a unified creative system that honored the franchise's legacy while repositioning it for an entirely new audience.
With the Moss franchise having earned numerous industry awards and critical acclaim, every creative decision needed to balance familiarity with clarity. The work focused on reducing customer confusion, strengthening the overall brand architecture, and creating a scalable foundation that could support future releases while generating renewed excitement among longtime fans and newcomers alike.
