Red Dead Redemption II is the highly anticipated sequel to Rockstar’s critically acclaimed Red Dead Redemption. When designing the key art and full campaign, our goal was to capture the essence of what made the game so compelling. We evolved the original’s bold graphic style, contrasting it with the sequel’s stunningly immersive visuals, while drawing inspiration from classic spaghetti western posters and the films that influenced the game’s story.

We set out to create key art and a campaign as iconic as the game itself—one that would resonate with players and stand the test of time. The imagery highlights Arthur Morgan, the game’s protagonist, while also nodding to the Van der Linde gang and the vast, untamed world waiting to be explored, evoking a sense of adventure, danger, and mystery.

More than just a game, Red Dead Redemption II is a testament to the artistry of video game development. Its breathtaking visuals and rich storytelling elevate it beyond entertainment, immersing players in a world that is both historically authentic and artistically striking. It stands as a prime example of video games as interactive art, celebrated for its masterful design, unforgettable imagery, and lasting impact.
